Alpha is a multi-faceted Christian ministry.
It was organized about seven years ago to preach and teach
both the basic and the in-depth knowledge of God, (the milk
and the strong meat), to believers as well as unbelievers.
Our biblical preaching and teaching emphasize the fundamental
themes in the relationship between the Law of God and the
saving gospel of Jesus Christ, the gospel which shaped and
propelled the 16th century Protestant Reformation. We believe
in God’s divinely inspired, special, and inerrant
revelation, in Scripture alone (Sola Scriptura), which reveals
the plan of salvation by grace alone (Sola Gratia), through
faith alone (Sola Fide), on the basis of the merits of Christ
alone (Solo Christo), all to God’s glory alone (Soli
Deo Gloria). Clearly, we adopt a God-centered world-view,
rather than human-centered world-view.
Alpha Ministries was conceptualized and began to produce
its embryonic roots in discussion and prayer groups during
trying circumstances. Finally, in November 2000, through
providential guidance, Alpha became an organized church
body which was housed in Christie’s Day Care Center,
located at East 37th Street, Brooklyn, New York. Over the
years, our outreach expanded as a result of divinely influenced,
gospel oriented, life-changing preaching and teaching, as
well as the spirit of brotherly love and fellowship which
grew increasingly stronger. People have been drawn by the
sermons, Bible studies, and devotionals of down-to-earth
preachers and teachers who communicate Scriptural truths
in ways listeners found minimally difficult in comprehending
and applying to their daily lives. Although the scale of
ministry has changed, we have remained committed to presenting
the unadulterated truth of the Bible to help people grow
in their knowledge of God and His holiness, and in their
relationship to with another.

We provide services and produce materials covering counseling,
community outreach, Bible study, theology, Christian living,
family living, and church history. Most of the tools are

DVD, CD, MP3, VHS, and Cassette.
